Thirteen Bravo Flags & Woodworking

US ARMY VETERAN

I enlisted into the US Army in 2001 on the delayed entry program prior to 9/11. I served in the Airborne community as a paratrooper for my entire career until late 2013. I served four overseas combat tours in support of Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom. I am currently a disabled veteran battling my demons incurred during my service to our Great Nation.

I have attended the Field Artillery Noncommissioned Officer’s Basic and Advanced Courses, Airborne, Field Artillery Master Gunner Course, Jumpmaster Course, Unit Movement Officer Course, Hazmat, Equal Opportunity Leaders Course, Army Combatives Level I Course, and Combatives Level II Course, Combat Life Saver Course.

My combat tours include OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM in Afghanistan in 2003, 2009, and 2011, as well as OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM in Iraq in 2006.

My assignments include being a cannon crew member and as a leader in 3rd Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment (Airborne), 82nd Airborne Division in Fort Bragg, NC; Alpha Battery 2nd Battalion 377th Parachute Artillery Regiment (Airborne); My last duty assignment I served as a Platoon Sergeant with Bravo Battery 2nd Battalion 377thParachute Artillery Regiment (Airborne), 4th Brigade 25th Infantry Division, Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson (JBER), AK.

My Awards and Decorations include; Afghanistan Campaign Medal with combat star 3RD Award; Iraq Campaign Award with 2 Campaign Stars; Bronze Star Medal; Army Commendation Medal 5th Award; Army Achievement Medal 4th Award; Valorous Unit Award 2nd Award; Presidential Unit Citation; Army Good Conduct Award 3rd Award; National Defense Service Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal; Overseas Service Medal 6th Award; NATO Medal; Combat Action Badge; Senior Parachutist Badge; Master Driver and Mechanic Badge; Australian Foreign Jump Wings; Canadian Jump Wings.

I enlisted at the grade of E1 rank of Private in the Field Artillery. I achieved the rank and grade of Sergeant First Class/ E7 during my career in the Army.

My love for woodworking was instilled at a young age prior to my enlistment into the Army. Through this passion I established Thirteen Bravo Flag Company in early 2018.

After my separation from the military and as an alternative means to medication for battling my service-connected disabilities. I use woodworking as therapy and combined it with being a dedicated and patriotic veteran that had the opportunity to serve and make it home.

Without the support of my Family and Loving Wife many of my achievements would not have been made possible.
